Maternity & Parenting Support
with Clementine Maitland
“I'm here to support you through the journey that is being a new parent.” Clementine Maitland
"My little one was having difficulty sleeping at night and I was at a loss how to help her. Clemmie was able to reassure me about what was normal. She listened to my needs and was very non-judgemental in her approach. After our session I felt great relief and a greater sense of confidence in getting my little one into great sleep habits. I would highly recommend Clemmie."

First time Mum
Advice: sleep, nutrition, breast feeding
'Clemmie has been an invaluable addition to our life since working with us from when our Daughter was a couple of months old. As well as being loved to bits by our Daughter she has been a consistent support, always flexible and adapting her methods to our preferred approach, personalities and parenting style in a sensitive way.
I struggled with the early stages of being a first time mother and having Clemmie around to help normalise what I was experiencing really helped. I had some issues with breast feeding and in addition to general advice on the subject, Clemmie also researched combination feeding for me. Until then I had been given such conflicting advice from other health care professionals who did not seem interested in providing support once I had decided that exclusively breast feeding was not going to work for us. Clemmie was much more open to finding a more flexible and tailored solution rather than telling me what was right or wrong. Clemmie has also been a great source of advice regarding developmental milestones and ways in which to help my Daughter through challenging times. She is also extremely knowledgeable regarding sleep and nutrition, which is very re assuring when your child is going through a difficult phase.
Sometimes it is just nice to check in and know that you are not doing a terrible job!'
Mum to a six month old
Advice: teething, development stages
'Clemmie worked for us for 8 months from when my son was 6 months old. Her help and advice was invaluable to us. She knew a lot about the different development stages and could provide tips and recommendations for all sorts of things, from various teething relief methods, to weaning tips, to which local groups we could join and which educational toys to buy. She was reassuring, knowledgeable, confident and caring.’
Advice: sleeping, long haul travel
'My little one was having difficulty sleeping at night and I was at a loss how to help her. I also needed advice on how to manage the 11-hour time zone difference for an upcoming holiday to Australia and how to minimise the disruption to both her evening and daytime sleep patterns.
Clemmie was incredibly easy to work with and very friendly and supportive. She listened to my needs and was very non-judgemental in her approach. She drew on her extensive experience with babies to reassure me and give me very practical tips of the many things I could do to help my little one sleep better at night. Clemmie was also able to reassure me about what was normal (e.g. 4 month sleep regressions, sleep disrupted due to a cold) and would disappear naturally and what was needed was more structure and consistency in my parenting approach.
After our session I felt great relief and a greater sense of confidence in getting my little one into great sleep habits. I would highly recommend Clemmie.’
